  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (for icing)
  • 23 tablespoons milk (adjust for icing consistency)
  • ½ cup crushed chocolate cookies (for topping)
  • Extra mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit until foamy (about 5 minutes).
  2. Stir in sugar, egg, egg yolk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add flour and salt; mix well.
  4. Gradually knead in remaining flour until dough is soft and slightly sticky. Mix in blue food coloring until evenly distributed.
  5. Let rise until doubled in size (1 to 1½ hours).
  6. Prepare filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, crushed cookies, and chocolate chips.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly over it.
  8. Roll tightly into a log; slice into 12 even rolls.
