  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan.
  2. Cream together unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream until just combined.
  5. Pour half the batter into the Bundt pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add remaining batter and finish with the rest of the swirl mixture. Gently swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
