Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter over low heat in a saucepan, then mix in the sugar until well combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
